TET is known as Teacher Eligibility Test. Those students who are looking to make career in teaching this could be a very good chance for them. They will need to clear TET exam with very good marks.
The UP TET is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Uttar Pradesh. All the students who are eligible and interested in this opening can apply online, latest by last week of July . The exam is scheduled for August. This exam will be held in two parts:
- Primary Teacher
- Upper primary Teacher

The online application forms can be filled at UP Basic Education Board website i.e. upbasiceduboard.gov.in. The applicants should apply sooner than the last date of concluding of online applications if they wish to appear for the TET exam. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility Criteria for Primary teacher is that he/she should be a graduate degree holder with minimum 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary education.
Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary teacher is that he or she should have graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks holder candidates with one year degree in elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT.
Age Limit – There is no separate age limit for the UP TET exam,
Application Fee:
The fee for UPTET is very nominal the general category needs to pay Rs 300 while the backward reserved candidates will pay Rs 150. The candidates are selected on cracking all the rounds mentioned above. Basis of merit list, aspirants will be appointed on given designations.

The applications for UPTET are only applied online through upbasiceduboard.gov.in. This site is controlled by UP basic Board of Education. The candidates should apply before the last date of closing of online applications. Below we are helping with procedure to apply online.
