For this, you have to apply electronically and for this you do not need to register the documents. You can submit your documents electronically. Also, instead of all documents such as proof of identity and proof of address, only one Aadhar card can work.

Step 1: First you have to go to Passport Seva https://portal1.passportindia.gov.in/. Click on the link provided for New User Registration here on the home page.
Step 2: On the screen you will see the left side. A new window will now open. Fill in all the required information here and enter the captcha code and click the Register button.
Step-3: After that, go to User Login. Log in here with the help of the login ID created during registration and click on the link provided for “Applying for a new passport and re-issuing a passport”.
Step-4: After that, fill in all the required information and click on Pay and Schedule. After that, select the date to go to the passport office as you see fit. After that you can make an online payment.
Step-5: You will then need to download the receipt by clicking Print Application Receipt. Have your original documents with you on the day of your appointment. Your passport will arrive at your home by post within 15-20 days from the date of document verification and police.
