Meeting with the Employees’ Association
Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met with representatives of the Workers’ Union. This decision was made after talking to different representatives at this meeting. The Prime Minister announced that the employee of the State will now have the allowance of the increased salary. This meeting was given until June 30 of this year to find a solution to other issues with employees.
When will employees receive the money?
Let us tell you that this change will be valid from July 1, 2018, while the relevant cash benefits will be paid from April 1, 2020. In parallel with the increased salary, the new salary will be available from January 1, 2022. That is, there will be an increase in workers’ wages. According to the announcement issued by the government, this decision will add an additional 10,247 crore to the fund annually.
The outstanding DA will also be paid
After this meeting, the Prime Minister told the Workers’ Unions that the outstanding Love Allowance (DA) will be paid together with the January salary. Along with this, by April the provident fund, insurance, redemption of licenses and other outstanding payments will be fully cleared. That is, in this meeting the government solved many problems regarding the salary of civil servants.
He will decide on the pension system
Regarding the reciprocal pension plan, the Prime Minister said that a subcommittee of a cabinet is examining the issue and a final decision will be made by June 30th. He said a committee chaired by the Secretary-General would be set up to look into problems with the workers’ health plan and find solutions. That is, the government is now strictly looking for the salary problems of its employees.
